Your Privacy Choices

CountryBucket does not sell your personal information for money. However, the site uses advertising cookies from Google and its partners, and some U.S. state privacy laws (including California’s) define that kind of cookie-based advertising as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, or as “targeted advertising.” This page is the opt-out those laws require, and anyone may use it regardless of where they live.

How to opt out

1. Privacy settings on this site. Use the privacy or cookie settings link in the site footer to decline advertising cookies. Your choice is stored in your browser, so set it on each browser and device you use.

2. Global Privacy Control. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid opt-out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising. Turn it on in a supporting browser or extension and the opt-out applies automatically on this site.

3. Google and industry tools. Opt out of Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com, and industry-wide at aboutads.info/choices.

4. Email. Send a request to legal@countrybucket.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we will verify the agent’s authority.

After you opt out

You will still see ads, because ads keep the site free, but they will be non-personalized: selected from the content of the page rather than from your browsing history. Opting out does not change your experience of the site in any other way, and we never discriminate against anyone for exercising a privacy right.
