Read and enjoy the site. Share links with your friends. Don’t copy the site wholesale, don’t scrape it, don’t feed it to an AI, and don’t use it to do anything unlawful. The stories are for your enjoyment and general information, and while we work to get things right, we can’t promise perfection. If you have a problem, email us and we’ll do our best to sort it out like neighbors.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Country Bucket, LLC (“CountryBucket,” “we,” “us”), the publisher of CountryBucket.com (the “Site”). By using the Site, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Site.

2. Who may use the Site

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site. The Site is written for adults and is not directed to children.

3. What the Site is

The Site publishes entertainment and general-interest content: stories, commentary, images, and embedded video. The content is provided for your enjoyment and general information. It is not professional advice of any kind, and you should not rely on it as such.

4. Our content and your license

The Site’s original content, including its text, design, compilation, selection, and arrangement, is owned by Country Bucket, LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the Site and view its content for personal, non-commercial use. Sharing links to our pages is welcome and encouraged.

5. Third-party content

Embedded videos remain hosted by the platforms that serve them (such as YouTube and Vimeo) and belong to their respective creators and rights holders. Your playback of embedded video is governed by the hosting platform’s own terms. Trademarks, show titles, and artist names appearing on the Site belong to their respective owners, and their appearance does not imply endorsement of the Site or by the Site.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • copy, reproduce, republish, or redistribute Site content at scale or for commercial purposes without our prior written permission;
  • access the Site by automated means, including scraping, crawling, or harvesting, except for standard search-engine indexing that honors our robots directives;
  • use any Site content to train, fine-tune, ground, or otherwise develop any machine learning or artificial intelligence model or system without our prior written permission;
  • interfere with the Site’s operation, probe or test its security, or circumvent any access control;
  • frame or mirror the Site, misrepresent your affiliation with it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

Reservation of text and data mining rights. Country Bucket, LLC expressly reserves all rights in the Site’s content with respect to text and data mining, including for the purposes of Article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790. Text and data mining of the Site’s content is prohibited without our prior written permission.

7. Copyright complaints

We respect the rights of creators. If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, follow the procedure in our Copyright & DMCA Policy.

8. Advertising and affiliate links

The Site is supported by advertising and may contain affiliate links. Our Advertising Disclosure explains how that works. Advertisers and affiliate programs do not direct our editorial content.

9. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We work in good faith to present nostalgic, historical, and entertainment content accurately, and we correct errors when we find them, but we do not warrant that any content is complete, current, or error-free, or that the Site will be uninterrupted or secure.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MADLY ODD MEDIA GROUP, INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you; in that case, our liability is limited to the greatest extent the law allows. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing in these Terms deprives consumers in the European Union or the United Kingdom of the protections of the mandatory consumer laws of their country of residence.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Country Bucket, LLC from claims, damages, and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

12. Changes to the Site and to these Terms

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may revise these Terms by posting an updated version with a new effective date; your continued use of the Site after a revision means you accept it.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Yuma County, Arizona, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, this section does not deprive you of the right to bring proceedings in, or of the protection of the mandatory laws of, your country of residence. Before filing anything, please email legal@countrybucket.com; most problems can be fixed with a conversation.

14. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Copyright & DMCA Policy, and Advertising Disclosure, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site.
