Feeding the birds is a great way to bring yourself closer to nature, and it is a practice many people with homes take part in. Still, one woman took things a step further by feeding the chipmunks.
The two little ones are as big as her hand, but they are full of personality. And when she goes to her back door, one of them is already there waiting.
When she comes outside, Wally munches on his bowl of nuts, letting the woman even pet him while he eats. His sibling Chucky isn’t far behind, not wanting to miss out on the feast.
A little braver than his brother, Chucky runs into the house for his bowl of mealworms and fruit. In the meantime, Wally seems to have gone to his own home for the afternoon.
At least, that is what she thinks until she turns around and sees Wally clinging once more to her screen door. Chuckling, she makes her way outside to share the mealworms with the adorable animal.
The video comes to a close with Wally eating a red cherry as big as his head, showing just how tiny and vulnerable these brave little creatures are.
What a lovely moment to wake up to and a rare chance to get up close and personal with these two chipmunks. We can’t wait for the next adorable video!
