Makeover reveals are some of the best moments on tv, and Rachael Ray loves to transform a life. She tries to help a man named Wade who hasn’t cut his hair since he was 18-years-old!
Wade’s wife inspired the makeover idea because he was about to start a new career in real estate. Wade’s wife Tiffany knows how important appearance can be in commercial real estate because she is in the same profession.
Tiffany tells Rachael, ‘Now that [Wade] is retired, he needs something to do, and I thought, what better way to start your career than with a makeover?’ Wade doesn’t look too excited about the process.
After being married to Wade, and his long gray hair for 13 years, Tiffany was ready to seek help. She turned to Rachael Ray and her famous stylist Carson Kressley.
Carson tells Rachael and Tiffany, ‘My plan is to elevate and upgrade him, and I think, this is a transition for [Wade] because [he’s] gonna be starting a new job and work in the real estate, and you guys need to look like you work together.’
Wade has also decided to donate his hair, and when Carson goes to cut that old ponytail, Wade has to cover his eyes! An hour later and the makeover is complete.
The studio audience and his wife Tiffany are stunned. Tiffany says, ‘Oh my God,’ as Wade appears in a blue pinstripe suit and brown suede shoes with his hair perfectly styled. His hair and beard are slightly dyed to give some texture.
It is a long way from the basketball shorts and flip-flops he used to wear. Wade has a new look for his new job. The audience and Tiffany are swooning in Wade’s presence and fantastic transformation!
