Rick Astley achieved international fame in the 1980s with his epic hit, 'Never Gonna Give You Up.' He retired from music to raise his daughter but has recently returned with more chart-topping hits. He delivers a soulful vocal performance on his hit 'She Makes Me.'
Rick walks out of a teal-colored door and looks straight into the camera as the music plays. He's washing his car outside his house and sprays the water from the hose into his mouth. The yellow ‘Reliant Rialto’ is covered in soap and has two dice hanging from the mirror.
Then, he walks into a room with a mirror, wearing a suit with a dark red jacket and tie. He fixes his hair in the mirror, gets in his car, and tries to shut the door, but it won't close all the way.
He tries a few more times and gets frustrated. Finally, he closes the door and checks for his keys. He doesn't have his keys, so he hotwires the car. Rick is praying for the car to start, and eventually, it starts causing him to cheer and pump his fists.
He drives away and reaches a dead end, and turns around. He gets lost, then his car stops running, and he gets out and yells at the car in anger. Rick comes back and hits his car with a tree branch. He hotwires it again and bangs his head on the wheel in frustration, and it turns on.
He fixes his hair and puts on his glasses, and drives. He walks up to a bright teal door and knocks. He picks up his daughter for her wedding day, and she is wearing a gorgeous gown. Father and daughter drive away toward her happy day.
Rick sings the powerful lyrics, 'She takes me to places that I've never been. She takes me to places that are deep within, and she gives me hope. She gives me fight. She makes me see what's wrong from right.' It is a beautiful performance with heartfelt sentiment.
