Mary from Miss Dixie's Kitten Rescue recently found an abandoned mansion with a colony of cute feral cats. When they pulled behind the house, she quickly saw two little kittens.
So, Mary contacted her friend Ash who ran a trap, neuter, and return rescue. Ash and Mary came out to the house with the intent of trapping two kittens and one mama cat.
However, when they reached the house the following day, they had six adults and nine kittens who needed their help. The adults got fixed, vaccinated, neutered, and returned to the colony where they could live out their happy and healthy life.
However, the kittens came to Mary's house. Some of these cute little kittens were really scared of Mary. They would hesitate to interact and would look at Mary with their nervous eyes.
One of these kittens, Paqui, was the spiciest of the lot. She would hiss at Mary and would not allow her to pet her. At one point in time, Mary was afraid that she could get bitten.
However, some of the other kittens really bonded with Mary a bit faster. This showed Paqui that it was alright to be friends with Mary. Soon she started to show signs of improvement.
Mary knew the spice that Paqui showed was just a façade. Paqui did not hiss anymore and loved it when Mary would pet her. She has now turned into an adorable girl. Paqui and her brother got adopted together, and soon others were adopted. Mary is happy that all her kittens are thriving in their new home.
