A fennec fox named Rupert and a cat named William are shown in a heart-warming video reuniting at the International Primate Rescue center in Pretoria, South Africa. The small fox and the cat have developed an extraordinary friendship despite their different species.
The International Primate Rescue in Pretoria, South Africa is a haven for 100 endangered primates, along with two fennec foxes, one which is lovingly named Rupert.
Rupert was only 4 weeks old when he came to the rescue center. As time passed, he developed an extra extraordinary relationship with a household cat named William.
The clip below shows the reunion of these two adorable best friends. This goes on to show that friendship really does come in all shapes and sizes!
Fennec foxes are very small nocturnal animals found in the Sahara that are renowned for their tiny bodies and great big ears. Their bodies are uniquely adapted to the desert environment and their powerful hearing helps them to avoid predators.
